The Combilift company was started by two engineers, Martin McVicar and Robert Moffett. Between them, they had more than 40 years of engineering experience when they founded the company in the year 1998 in Monaghan, Ireland. In only over ten years, Combilift became a leader within the worldwide long-load handling market, providing equipment to more than 50 markets worldwide. Supported by a trusted global network of distributors that have helped expand distribution into numerous markets all over the globe and utilizing their extensive experience and knowledge, Moffett and McVicar have created products which are in high demand and had sold 10,000 units by mid 2009.
