Potain Cranes Saskatchewan

Potain Cranes Saskatchewan

The company Potain was established within La Clayette, France during 1928. Since that time, the company has grown into a leading producer of cranes. The company is responsible for more than 100,000 cranes in operation all over the globe. Now, the company makes over 60 models from various manufacturing facilities in China, France, Germany, Italy and Portugal. The business represents many different product ranges used for a variety of applications. These equipments are sold through a global Manitowoc dealer network.

The Potain family makes 3 different tower crane families. The self-erecting cranes are the smallest ones in the Potain range. These cranes vary from 1 ton to 7.98 ton capacity. The next size up is the top-slewing cranes which are higher and bigger. These cranes range from 7.98 to 64 tons. Furthermore, these are the biggest custom-made special application cranes. These units provide a reach capacity of 160 tons.

The company's top innovations include LLC range of hoists, the Dialog control system and the Vision Cab. The growing reputation of the company has expanded their appeal with various models. Potain cranes are usually found on conventional construction sites, bridge building projects, power stations, shipbuilding yards and ship-building projects.

Two of Manitowac's largest facilities are based in the US. Their manufacturing facility is based in the state of Wisconsin. In this state, both the tower crane parts and crawler cranes are constructed in the state of Pennsylvania in the Shady Grove facility. Here both mobile cranes and boom trucks are built. Regional offices are located within Brazil and within Mexico. As well, the extensive dealer network situated all over Saskatchewan and the United States provides coverage and support unrivalled by any other crane manufacturer.

Manitowoc has dominated the lifting market in North America for over 50 years. They have built their solid reputation with a combination of outstanding service and support and quality products. The well-known names of Grove, National Crane and Manitowoc have been top members of their market sectors within South and Latin America, USA and Saskatchewan.
