End Control Forklifts
The stand-up end control lift truck is a really flexible machine and is common in the material handling business. These equipment have great performance features which are quite comparable to sit-down electric forklift models.
These lift truck units are great for warehouse environments that have limited space. The space needed to use these equipment are less than the three-wheel electric forklift truck needs. These machines are an excellent choice for applications which need frequent on and off access, as their stand-up design is an exceptional feature.
The reach truck is a loading machine used by various companies who maintain a storage facility that involves the arrangement of finished goods on pallets and materials which are stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck provides safe and easy retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also an excellent choice for individuals who prefer to store pallets of products they do not require for immediate use in an efficient and safe way.
All standard reach truck models will have an out-rigging mechanism secured to the front of the equipment. Telescoping tines are mounted to the out-rigging and could move up and down. The blades additionally have a hydraulic setup which allows the driver to lift the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This design not only gives much more balance to the whole load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to maneuver into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
Once the designated shelf has been identified, the hydraulic tines swing into action and lower the pallet into the shelving unit, helping to slide the load into place. Typically, a reach truck would easily fit into an aisle that is less than 10 feet across without any problem, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
