Lull Telehandlers
Lull telehandlers have been in production since the year 1959. They specialize in load placement. For more precise placement capabilities, their patented Stabil-Trak stability system provides much more accurate placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide various optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you accomplish your requirements, whilst being efficient and safe at the worksite. If both precision and accuracy are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to complete everything you need.
The Future
Numerous attachments have been designed and made in order to make rough terrain lift trucks as efficient as possible. Booms, winches and rotating fork carriages allow the forklift to position materials in a more accurate way. The booms or articulating booms are available in 2 different extendible arms and could reach up and over structures so as to position loads in the upper or center floors or on interior roof slope settings. New attachments and products are being made and engineered all the time and would debut in the future.
Many improvements have been made with extra safety features becoming more prevalent. For example, load-reach management devices can restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled as opposed to relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are utilized to be able to determine the load weight. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
When the load is being placed into position, the memory would compare the boom's extension and the boom's angle with the safety limits. There is an essential lock-up device or a warning system that prevents the operator from over-reaching and potentially causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
