Man Lift Designs
Available today, there is a wide variety of articulating lifts, with various types of lifts to fit each circumstance, application and work venue. There are certain manufacturers who specify in lifts for hazardous settings like for example underground tunnel situations, petro-chemical plants, and other locations where there is a risk of explosive gases or dust, for instance in grain-processing plants.

Some lifts have been mounted to big flatbed trucks or onto the back of pickup trucks or onto trailers. There are types of lifts which include articulating booms which can be self-propelled and are controlled by the lift operator, while others have the ability to pivot 360 degrees.

There are lift models designed specifically for outdoor and indoor use, and come in both 4-wheel and 2-wheel powered models. In some cases, the platforms are adjustable and some kinds of lifts feature baskets where the worker stands. These baskets or platforms are adjustable and allow the employees to swing into location or remain level, depending on what the operator should finish the task. There are several baskets and platforms which come wired so as to enable the operator to plug tools in as required.
